Weekly COVID-19 screening and other health testing to take place in CIBE from 21st August

USAID-funded NGO, John Snow Inc (JSI) will start COVID-19 screening from 8am to 2pm in CIBE every Friday from 21st August for the next three months. Also supported by the Department of Health, the test site will be located at the intersections of Longifolia and Belladonna Roads. Services are free and will include HIV testing, Diabetes and BP checking, condom distribution, health promotion and education. Those needing further assistance will be referred to JSI’s northern affiliated medical facilities in Osindisweni / Tongaat, Newtown A, Phoenix and KwaMashu. CIBE members and businesses can make staff testing bookings by contacting JSI’s Zinhle Mhlongo zinhle_mhlongo@za.jsi.com.

CIBE precinct operations manager Sihle Miya says: “Direct and easy access to health services like these enables more people to get screened as part of their daily routine and will help us continue to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the precinct.”
