Each year, the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate Management Association (CIBEMA) runs an Annual Perception Survey to better understand how members and businesses experience the precinct. The survey plays a key role in guiding the work done on the ground — from operational priorities to communication strategies — ensuring that services remain relevant and aligned to member needs.
The 2025 survey, conducted in October, received 166 responses from across the estate, including property and business owners as well as employees. The feedback once again affirms CIBE’s reputation as a well-managed, safe, and clean industrial precinct with strong business confidence and satisfaction levels.
Key highlights from this year’s survey:

9.78 / 10 average business confidence rating, reflecting positive sentiment towards CIBE’s management, security, and attention to detail.

99% of respondents said they would recommend CIBE to others.

99% of respondents feel safe in the precinct during the day, with those active at night also reporting high levels of comfort.

78% rated the overall cleanliness of open spaces as excellent, and the remaining 22% as great.

The precinct’s gardens continue to receive high praise, with a combined 99% great/excellent rating.

Top industries represented include automotive, engineering, food and food supply services, and signage manufacture and installation, showing a well-balanced industrial mix.

75% of businesses in CIBE employ between 51–100 people, demonstrating the precinct’s role as an important economic hub.
When asked what they value most about the precinct, respondents cited safety and cleanliness as key strengths. Areas for improvement included calls for more pedestrian paving and enhanced parking facilities, both of which are being considered in future planning.
The survey also revealed that all respondents who receive CIBE’s monthly Insights and ad-hoc Newsflash updates feel well-informed, reaffirming the effectiveness of the Association’s communication channels and commitment to transparency.
Running this survey annually provides the CIBEMA Board and management team with an invaluable benchmark to measure progress, highlight areas for improvement, and continue shaping the precinct into a vibrant, sustainable, and sought-after business address.
