320 Bags Collected, Drains Cleared, Grass Cut – April Maintenance Holds the Line in Wet Conditions

April brought persistent wet conditions across the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate (CIBE), resulting in a necessary shift in focus from larger project work to essential, routine maintenance. Despite the rain, the precinct has remained well-kept, thanks to the consistent efforts of our Cleaning, Greening, and Maintenance (CGM) teams.

Prioritising Basic Maintenance Tasks

In response to the weather, the CGM team focused on activities that are crucial to keeping the precinct functional and presentable. These included clearing stormwater drains, removing silt build-ups, cutting grass, and tackling overgrown weeds. Maintaining clear drainage systems during rainy periods is especially important to reduce the risk of blockages and flooding.

Keeping the Precinct Litter-Free

Litter collection also remained a priority throughout the month. As of the end of April, the CGM team had used 320 refuse bags to remove litter and debris from public areas. These ongoing efforts ensure that the precinct remains clean, safe, and visually appealing for all who work and operate within CIBE.

Looking Ahead

With more stable weather expected in the coming weeks, we look forward to resuming additional precinct improvement projects. In the meantime, our team remains committed to delivering consistent and high-quality maintenance servicesβ€”no matter the conditions.
