Sadly we had two incidents of some of the newly installed streetlights on JG Champion being cut down last week. We have placed a dedicated night guard in the area to make sure that no further theft occurs. eThekwini Electrical Department worked till the early hours to replace the cut streetlights and had a contractor on site the next day to finish the installation.
