Breathing new life into CIBE: a month of cleaning, greening and maintenance

As spring settles in, the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate (CIBE) is beginning to flourish thanks to the dedicated efforts of our cleaning, greening, and maintenance teams throughout September. The recent rains have given new life to the precinct, and our teams have been hard at work ensuring that the verges, gardens, and public spaces are ready for the season of growth.

Spring-Ready Gardens

With the arrival of spring, our gardens are starting to show signs of revitalisation. Over the past month, our team prepared for this by replanting and applying compost and mulch to most gardens across the precinct. These efforts have enriched the soil and ensured that the gardens are set to thrive as temperatures warm. The result is a vibrant, green landscape that enhances the beauty of the precinct.

Tree Trimming for Safety and New Growth

In preparation for new spring growth, our team has trimmed trees throughout CIBE. This was done not only to encourage healthy growth but also to remove older, heavier branches that could become hazardous as the weather changes. With windy and rainy conditions still in the forecast, these proactive measures will help ensure that trees remain stable and safe.

Maintaining Cleanliness Across the Precinct

Keeping the precinct clean is a top priority, and over the past month, our teams have collected an impressive 271 bags of litter. These efforts ensure that the public spaces remain clean, welcoming, and pleasant for all who work and visit CIBE.

Preventing Urban Decay

In addition to our greening and cleaning efforts, we’ve also focused on preventing urban decay by painting various infrastructure elements around the precinct. This includes repainting bollards and other structures, helping to keep the precinct looking fresh and well-maintained.

As we move further into spring, CIBE is flourishing with new growth and revitalised spaces. Our teams remain committed to keeping the precinct clean, green, and vibrant, ensuring a pleasant environment for all businesses and visitors.
