Focused effort, visible impact in September

Cleaning, Greening and Maintenance

Despite the seasonal dryness typical of this time of year, the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate remained clean, tidy, and well-managed during September thanks to focused and consistent effort from the Cleaning, Greening, and Maintenance (CGM) team.

Enhancing CCTV coverage with strategic tree trimming

A key priority this month was the extensive pruning of trees along Syringa Road. This work was specifically targeted to improve visibility for the control room’s CCTV network, particularly in high-traffic zones. With CCTV playing an important role in both proactive and responsive security, clearing obstructive vegetation helps ensure that cameras maintain a clear and unobstructed view of the precinct.

Daily upkeep and infrastructure care

Across the precinct, regular tasks were kept on track. A total of 321 refuse bags were used during September as teams focused on litter collection, sweeping, verge edging and ongoing repairs to road signage and kerbing. Garden replanting also continued, reinforcing our long-term approach to creating a visually appealing and functional public environment.
