Municipal service delivery: 75% of our streetlights are operational

We are pleased to share the latest updates on municipal service delivery within the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate (CIBE). The ongoing collaboration with eThekwini Municipality is crucial in maintaining and improving our precinct’s infrastructure, ensuring a safe and well-functioning environment for all.

Roads Department: Manhole Cover Replacement

Over the past month, the Roads Department successfully replaced a manhole cover on Belladonna Road. This essential repair is part of our ongoing efforts to address and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.

Streetlight Repairs and Improvements

Streetlight functionality remains a top priority for us. Recently, an eThekwini contractor worked on streetlights within the precinct. Currently, 75% of our streetlights are operational, and we are hopeful for further improvements. Our team will conduct an audit soon to assess the progress and identify any additional needs. We anticipate a positive outcome that will enhance the safety and visibility of our precinct during nighttime hours.

Looking Ahead

These updates are just a part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring CIBE remains a well-maintained and safe environment. We look forward to continued cooperation with eThekwini Municipality and other stakeholders to address any infrastructural needs promptly and effectively.

We appreciate the ongoing support and patience of our community members as we work towards these improvements. Stay tuned for more updates on our efforts to enhance the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate
