Recent road and streetlight updates in CIBE

We are excited to share the latest updates on road markings and streetlight repairs within the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate (CIBE). These improvements are part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the safety and functionality of our precinct.

Road Marking Updates

The eThekwini road marking team is back in action within our precinct. All white lines have been redone, ensuring clear and visible markings for better traffic management. The team is currently focusing on repainting yellow lines and islands, which will further enhance road safety and navigation for all users.

Streetlight Repairs

Streetlight repairs are also underway, thanks to the diligent efforts of the eThekwini Electrical Department. We are pleased to report noticeable improvements on Syringa and Longifolia Roads. The team will soon move on to address streetlight issues on Tottum Road, ensuring our entire precinct is well-lit and secure.

Last weekend, six streetlight poles were successfully straightened, improving overall streetlight stability and performance. However, we still have one leaning pole on Okuhle Place, which was found to be bent below ground level. This pole needs to be replaced, and we have reported it to eThekwini for prompt action.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance our precinct’s infrastructure. These updates are crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient environment for all businesses and visitors in CIBE.
