Last week an eThekwini Municipality team was on-site continuing with streetlight installation on the left-hand side of Longifolia Road. Approximately 80% of streetlights were replaced and the remainder will be done soon. Reinstatement of sidewalks damaged during lighting repairs has commenced.
The eTM Roads Department has verified that the contract to repair the precinct’s four damaged traffic circles has been awarded and we await a starting date for the repairs. The repair will also allow for proper landscaping to be installed on the circles, thus boosting the precinct’s overall aesthetic of the precinct.
