Our cleaning, greening, and maintenance team has completed tree replanting on Tottum Road and Okuhle Place, introducing more suitable and sustainable species. Ongoing garden care also continues, supporting a greener precinct environment.

100% Verge Cutting Schedule Maintained

Routine maintenance remains on track, with the team completing:

  • Weekly verge cutting across the precinct
  • Ongoing garden maintenance and upkeep
  • Replacement of a damaged bollard on Patula Close, improving safety and infrastructure integrity

7 Streetlight Fittings Repaired

While no new faults were reported to eThekwini this month, progress continues on lighting improvements, with 7 streetlight fittings repaired and ready for reinstallation.

Clearing leads To Positive Security Stats

Security patrols have increased visibility and monitoring with focused attention on pedestrian-heavy routes such as Syringa Road and JG Champion Drive. This, along with ongoing clearing of verges has resulted in a zero security-related incidents this month.

Through proactive management and ongoing improvements, CIBE remains committed to delivering a safe, clean, and sustainable precinct for all members.
