May has been a productive month for the Cleaning, Greening, and Maintenance (CGM) teams in the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate (CIBE). As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing precinct, several key projects were carried out during the month.
Verge Levelling Along Crassula Road
A major focus area this month has been verge levelling on Crassula Road. Landscaping teams applied topsoil to improve uniformity and visual appeal, helping to smooth out uneven surfaces and enhance the overall look of the area. This work not only improves aesthetics but also helps prevent erosion and supports future landscaping efforts. Along with this our teams have been weeding gardens, spraying retaining walls for weeds and cutting grass along verges to reduce unsightly littered areas.
Kerb and Signage Repairs
Our maintenance team has also responded to damage caused by weather and wear, completing essential road kerb repairs along Crassula Road. These repairs restore safety and structure to road edges and walkways, contributing to a safer experience for motorists and pedestrians alike. In addition, repairs to road and wayfinder signage were undertaken to ensure clear, visible directions throughout the precinct.
Tree Cutting and Boundary Maintenance
Along the eastern boundary of the precinct, our team has been actively cutting back overgrown trees. This work enhances visibility, improves safety, and ensures that green spaces remain well-managed and in line with the precinctβs overall landscape design.
Litter Collection: 376 Bags in May
Litter control remains a key part of our routine maintenance programme. Throughout May, 376 bags of litter were collected across the precinctβa testament to the teamβs consistent efforts to keep CIBE clean, tidy, and professional in appearance.
As we move into winter, the CGM team will continue to focus on essential maintenance and beautification projects across the precinct.
