As the rainy season settles in, October presented a shift in pace for cleaning and landscaping operations in the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate (CIBE). Despite wetter conditions and the seasonal burst of vegetation growth, our Cleaning, Greening, and Maintenance (CGM) team remained proactive and on track, ensuring the precinct remained clean, safe, and visually well-kept.
Greener growth, stronger response
With the onset of regular rainfall, our team focused on maintaining the increasing vegetation across the precinct. Routine grass cutting, verge maintenance, and tree pruning continued to ensure line of sight for cameras and vehicle movement across key routes. Garden beds received attention through targeted replanting and upkeep, helping to keep public areas vibrant and welcoming.

Infrastructure repair and upgrades
October also saw ongoing paving repairs at Island Circle, including kerb restorations across sections of the road network. A new concrete bin was installed, adding to the precinctβs waste management infrastructure and supporting the consistent cleanliness CIBE is known for.

Rapid response after road incident
Earlier in the month, our teams responded quickly after a vehicle fire along one of the internal roads. Once extinguished and removed by the fire department, our cleaning team stepped in to clear debris, ash, and oil residue from the affected area. The clean-up ensured minimal disruption and returned the roadway to a safe, usable state.
